About Artist

What The Clay Says To Me

As a ceramic artist I feel the power of the clay medium is in its organic style. Although the material is of an obvious inorganic compound in its finished format it is so full of life and motion. Through the use of the various techniques I strive to create works that move beyond the mere vase and into something that breathes more life. My style and personal aesthetic are definitively unique and of a looser state of being. I find that the potter’s wheel is not just a tool for simply throwing a cup but can be used to make smaller parts to a larger whole in a sculptural work.
