The Art of The Kiln Load

When one speaks of the process of wood-firing ceramic art they must understand that this does not simply encompass the mere process of the firing itself.  A proper wood kiln requires a dedication and effort from processing of the wood, to wading, and the ever forgotten art of the load.  Loading of the kiln is essential to the next level of variation that brings a quality ceramic vessel into a Masterpiece.  Being unafraid to load your pots at impossible angles and tilts is how to create the variations that are unreplicatable.
